It’s true! We make excuses for our own behavior, but when someone else does the same thing we do, we are often merciless.
I encourage you to reverse the process, assume the best in others, but keep your own life under the magnifying glass. Allow God to deal with you first, and then you will learn the scriptural way of helping others grow.
Holy Spirit, instead of examining the lives of others, I want You to help me examine my own life. I know that with Your help, I can correct the issues I have and find the proper way to help others grow as well.
1 John 4:10-11
Why do we have to love one another? basically for the fact that Gods love us and we just have to share what God wants us to share the Love that from God the father came from … Gods commandments was summarize when you read the new testament it is now down to 2 commands 1.“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind” .This is the first and greatest commandment.2. ”Love your neighbor as yourself” The neighbor here is pertaining here in general to all the people you interact with … just simple old woman who needs to cross the street and you are there … basically we can exercise our humility, humbleness and meekness almost everyday since we interact to a lot of people most especially in our jobs. why not exercise that love attitude there … love one another as God loves you. =)
